Unix scripting and programming services

Unix scripting, education, programming, networking and cross-platform

Martin Works has a wealth of experience working with Unix variants. This includes creating applications that run on Unix and work with other segments in a multi platform system, to setting them up as firewalls to protect vulnerable Windows networks behind them.

Education

We can also teach your staff how to use Unix systems. A member of our staff has both created course materials for, and taught hands on classes for George Washington University and other education providers. We have helped organizations move from MVS to Unix environments. If you just need to know how to navigate within your Unix based internet server with a telnet connection we have a solution for you.

Script Writing and Programming

Need to automate some processes on a Unix based platform? We can write scripts or C programs for you. No job is too big or small. We can also work with CGI and Perl scripts. If you need to have a front end script for preparing files and directories before background processing begins, we can do that also. Let us know what you need and Martin Works can show you how we can solve your problem in an efficient and professional manner.

Networking

Our staff is experienced in network programming and in creating networked applications between Unix, Mainframe and PC systems. If you need a Linux system as a firewall, or just to share a single internet connection between many other computers, we can help you get the job done.
