The museum helps the
society fulfill its primary purpose of preserving items of historical
significance and educating the public about this area's history. To carry
out this mission we do need one thing, you. Yes, without visitors the
educational aspect of the displays just does not work. Admission is free so
please come and visit us. We have a small sampling of the items on display.
Click on the buttons below to view the different aspects of the displays we
have. If this tickles your interest please come visit the museum. The
museum is open from 12 noon to 4pm Sundays between Memorial Day and Labor
Day. The museum is also open one hour before our meetings. Our meetings
occur on the third Thursday of the month, February through November.
